CES engages CS as special counsel to defend three environmental class actions and an environmental enforcement action brought by the Texas Attorney General
October 12, 2009
Camara & Sibley has agreed to act as outside general counsel for CES Environmental Services Inc. and Port Arthur Chemical & Environmental Services LLC. Both CES and PACES operate in highly regulated industries and are the subjects of ongoing investigations by the City of Houston and its various departments and divisions, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Attorney General, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. CES and PACES are also involved in ongoing commercial litigation and in the defense of several employment actions, personal-injury actions, private environmental actions, and a nuisance class action.
As part of this engagement, Camara & Sibley will consolidate its clients’ relationships with outside counsel, experts, and lobbyists and present an aggressive, unified defense across all the fronts on which CES and PACES face litigation and regulatory challenges.
K.A.D. Camara, Tim Nyberg, Joe Sibley, Kent Radford, Noah Radbil, and Mike Wilson will act as counsel for CES and PACES. CeCe Cohen will direct press and public relations for CES and PACES.
