CS files claims against Woodrock Capital and Iroquois Capital arising out of acquisition and development of heavy oil fields in Missouri
October 8, 2009
Zero CO2 Inc. and Richard Krajicek today filed claims against Woodrock Capital, a Texas-based investment bank, and Iroquois Capital, a New York private equity fund, alleging that Woodrock and Iroquois misappropriated confidential information from the plaintiffs and stole a deal that the plaintiffs had put together to acquire and develop heavy oil fields in Missouri.
Krajicek is a chemical engineer and a well-known inventor of petroleum-extraction techniques and technologies. He served as CEO of Carmel Energy, Inc., from 1978 until 1986 and as CEO of Serv-Tech, Inc., from 1986 until 1993. He is now the CEO of Zero CO2 Inc., a company formed to exploit the vapor-therm technology — a technology, developed with the aid of a research grant from the U.S. Department of Energy and Sandia National Laboratories, for injecting carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and superheated steam into oilfield steamfloods — that he invented.
Joe Sibley, K.A.D. Camara, and Mike Wilson will serve as lead counsel for the plaintiffs.
