Guy Markham
Guy handles corporate and commercial transactions in the energy industry. He has experience in the areas of public offerings, mergers, acquisitions and divestments, and securities filings, including advising on FCPA, Bribery Act, EAR, and sanctioned-country issues.
Guy previously served as contracts counsel for Baker Hughes; regional legal counsel for Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific regions for Weatherford International; general counsel for Pearl Energy, a sovereign energy company of Abu Dhabi; and, more recently, general counsel for a Singapore main board listed company, Ramba Energy.
Guy spent several years living in each of Jakarta, Dubai, and Singapore. He has handled transactions involving local counsel and local law throughout the Middle East and in countries including Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the U.K., the U.S., and Vietnam.
Guy divides his time between Camara & Sibley's offices in Houston and Singapore.

- Ramba Energy in connection with acquisitions, divestments, compliance, dispute resolution, corporate restructurings, corporate governance, Singapore securities filings and announcements, and corporate secretarial matters.
- Pearl Energy and Ramba Energy in negotiating and drafting sale and purchase agreements; farm-in/farm-outs; production sharing contracts, KSOs, and TACs; joint operating agreements; joint study and bidding agreements; EPC agreements; FPSO and related agreements; gas allocation and transport agreements; and other commercial transactions.
- Weatherford International, Pearl Energy, and Ramba Energy in connection with U.S. and E.U. export laws, U.S. FCPA and European antibribery statues, U.S. and U.K. antitrust and competition matters, U.S. antiboycott law, and U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act, including designing, implementing, and managing internal compliance processes.
