Sylia Gallegos
Sylia is a first-year associate in commercial litigation. She is also a Texas Certified Mediator.
Sylia earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Operations Research at Southern Methodist University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law. She also studied at University College, Oxford, in England.
During law school, Sylia was recognized on the Dean's Honor List, designated an Academic Merit Scholar, and inducted into the Phi Delta Phi international legal honor fraternity. She participated and was a finalist in mock trial tournaments and moot court competitions.
Before joining Camara & Sibley, Sylia served as a law clerk to Justice Ken Thompson Frost on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas. Sylia is an active member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.
